Terms and Conditions of Booking

for The Snug  & The Cosy Nest at Lavender Cottage


Check-in is after 3p.m. and before 7p.m. on your expected day of arrival.

On the day of departure the property must be vacated by 10a.m.

The accommodation will have been cleaned ready for guest’s arrival. Guests are expected to keep the property, along with it’s fixtures and fittings, clean during their stay, and upon departure to leave it clean and tidy, bins fridge etc, emptied.


The owner reserves the right to charge for any breakages, damage or additional costs incurred such as cleaning for the property if left in an unsatisfactory condition.

All breakages, even accidents will have to be paid for.

  • It is the owner's right the right to request proof of identity.

  • The owners reserve the right to refuse admission.

  • Smoking, children (under 18s) and pets are not permitted on the property.

  • No subletting is allowed.

  • Lost keys will be charged for at the cost of replacing them and replacing locks. (approx. £150)

  • Parking is limited at the property, and vehicles are parked at owners risk.

  • Use of the wifi is permitted on the understanding you have read and comply with the information supplied with regards to network/passwords.

  • Any articles left behind can be returned at the cost of handling charge, postage and packaging.

  • The owners cannot take responsibility for any work taking place outside the boundary of the property, nor for any noise or nuisance arising over which the owners of have no control (for example gardening).

  • You must accept that the garden will need attending and from this there may occasionally involve some noise. 

  • Every effort is made to ensure all items of equipment within the property are well maintained and are in good working order. However breakdowns (power cuts) etc can occur and repairs/replacements are always completed as soon as reasonably possible.

Cancellation Policy


  • The 50% paid to secure booking will be forfeited on all cancellations, i.e. it is non-refundable.

  • If you cancel within 60 days from arrival date then the remaining 50% will be charged.

  • The balance on all bookings must be paid 10 days prior to arrival date.
